Measure, never watch.
A product that looks at faces must be beyond reproach in how it does so. Here are our commitments, and what they mean in practice.
Our commitments
Processed on site
Video analysis runs on the room computer. Images are neither recorded nor transmitted. Our servers only receive numeric indicators.
The room, not the individual
The default score is the whole room. Individual tracking requires the explicit, free and revocable consent of each person.
No emotion recognition
Article 5 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act prohibits emotion recognition in education and in the workplace. CLAIRIO does not do it, anywhere: it measures where faces turn, not what people feel.
No identification
CLAIRIO does not recognise faces and does not try to know who is who. It detects the presence of people and signals of attention, nothing more.
Transparency towards the audience
A poster and an information screen tell the room that CLAIRIO is active, what it measures and what it does not.
